Lighting & Heating

Lighting in the passenger seating area is provided above the central aisle by fluorescent and spot lighting.

The train windows are tinted and double glazed with laminated and toughened glasses.

The new trains are equipped with modern heating and air-conditioning systems. The heating panels are located at floor level along the side of the car, while the air conditioning or cooling system operates from above. The levels are regulated automatically but may be adjusted by the train crew.
