New Bus Service and Timetable for Dromore

Translink have introduced four new Dromore town local bus services, which will be served by low floor accessible buses.

“These new services will make life much easier for local residents in the Dromore area,” explained John Lundy, Translink’s District Manager.

“Each of the new services depart and return to Dromore Square. This not only improves access to the town, but also makes onward connections much more convenient.

“Each service also includes a hail and ride feature along certain sections of the route, where minibuses will stop on request at any safe place. Passengers should give the driver a clear signal in good time, and not expect the driver to stop close to a bend, road junction or other obstruction,” he said.

Mr Lundy went on to explain how the new services, which are supported by the Department for Regional Development, were developed in response to the needs of local residents.

“We constantly strive to tailor our services to meet our passengers’ needs, and hope these new routes will ensure the provision of the best possible service.” He concluded.

Service 329A
Outward: Dromore Square, Church Street, Banbridge Road, Meeting Street, Circular Road, Dromara Road, Heronwood Estate, Dromara Road, Diamond Road, Church Meadows.
Inward: Church Green, Diamond Road, Pound Hill, Meeting Street, Banbridge Road, Church Street, Dromore Square.

Service 329B
Outward: Dromore Square, Gallows Street, Maypole Hill, Maypole Estate, Thornhill Estate, Gallows Street.
Inward: Jubilee Road, Hillsborough Road, Princes Street, Dromore Square.

Service 329C
Outward: Dromore Square, Church Street, Banbridge Road, Rampart Street, Barban Hill, Barban Heights.
Inward: Barban Hill, Banbridge Road, Church Street, Dromore Square

Service 329D
Outward: Dromore Square, Mount Street, Mount Hill.
Inward: Ballynahinch Road, Mossvale Road, Princes Street, Dromore Square.
