Storytellers Return With More ‘Tales On The Rails’

20th June 2006

Cliodhna Fitzpatrick and Eamon Kendall of St. Malachy’s Primary School in Belfast enjoy a fascinating tale by storyteller Jack Lynch.

The trio are waiting at Central Station to board a train to Cultra for this year’s ‘Tales on the Rails’ event which culminates with the annual Ulster Storytelling Festival on Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th June in the Ulster Folk and Transport Museum.

A band of storytellers will travel onboard the Enterprise service on Saturday 24th June to Central Station, where they will disembark to tell a few short stories to the waiting public at approximately 11.45am, before travelling on board a NI Railways service to Cultra for the Ulster Storytelling Festival.

Storytelling sessions will occur on both afternoons and admission is normal museum rate.

Why not catch a short story at Central on Saturday between 11.45pm and midday, before boarding a NI Railways service to Cultra with the storytellers?
