Get on yer Bike… and the bus… and the train…

14 June 2004

Tomorrow (Wednesday 16 June) is Bike2Work Day and to encourage commuters to cycle to work Translink, with the help of Sustrans have put a leaflet together detailing the locations of bus and rail stations which feature covered cycle parking across Northern Ireland. Translink hope the Bike Park & Ride sites will give people the opportunity to cycle to their nearest bus or rail station and complete their journey by public transport.  So no excuses for tomorrow… get on your bike… and the bus… and the train..!  The leaflets are available from all bus and rail stations and can also be downloaded from the website www.translink.co.uk
