New Omagh Town Bus Service

9 September 2002

Translink are delighted to announce the introduction of a new Ulsterbus service in Omagh town. With effect from September 2002 a new service will depart every Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday evening at 1745 from the bus depot. The number 393 bus will serve Beragh, Sixmilecross, Bush Crossroads, Carrickmore, Louchmacrory, Mountfield, and Killyclogher before returning to the bus depot in Omagh and then going on to the cinema.

Alan Young, Translink District Manager, commented, “We are delighted to be able to offer this additional service in the Omagh area, which has been supported by the Rural Transport Fund. The service should prove particularly useful to staff and students at Omagh College of Further Education, as well as local cinema goers.”

The service will collect passengers from Omagh bus station before moving on to the cinema. The service has been planned to arrive at the cinema in time for the first evening showings. A return service will leave from the cinema at 2200. Timetable and departure information are available from Omagh bus station or by calling 028 9066 6630 or logging onto www.translink.co.uk.
