Top Translink prize for Belfast Institute student

Translink has this week announced the winners of a photographic exhibition hosted by Belfast’s Central Station. The exhibition entitled ‘Graphics on Track’ was created by students from Belfast Institute of Further and Higher Education and focused on themes relating to travel, passengers and modern public transport.
In order to acknowledge the students’ efforts Translink encouraged commuters to vote for their favourite piece. Translink’s Central Station Manager Andrew Morrisey commented, “With an incredible 330 votes cast, the exhibition proved a great success. The students’ exhibits were outstanding and really enhanced the ambience of Central Station.”
Belfast Institute tutor, Deirdre Lawrence added, “This has been a great opportunity for the students who are taking a BTEC HND in Graphic Design to showcase their work. They thoroughly enjoyed bringing graphic imagery to the general public and making it as accessible as possible.”
