Translink go up and over for local charity

In a bid to raise funds for the NI Children’s Hospice, Translink’s new ‘Railroad’ staff charity launched 55 Translink staff members off the top of the Europa Hotel in a colossal charity abseil.

A result of Translink’s bus and rail charities joining together to form an even more effective fundraising team, the group successfully raised £3000 for the local charity which will go toward providing invaluable resources to families in need across Northern Ireland.

Pictured in the fundraising loop are (l-r) Emma Rea, Business Fundraiser, NI Hospice Care; Jim Warnock, Translink’s ‘abseiling’ conductor; and David Laird, Joint Chair of Translink’s Railroad staff charity
