It’s an exciting time within our Infrastructure & Projects Department with the development of several key construction projects, including our landmark Belfast Grand Central Station.

Further innovative work going on in Major Projects, Commercial Contracts, Renewals, Signalling and Telecoms, Permanent Way (Track), Structures, Property and Estates, Network Assurance and Safety as well as other areas of the business.

New Busway Bridge access to new Belfast Grand Central Station takes shape

An impressive new bridge is emerging at the construction site of the new Belfast Grand Central Station.

Watch our timelapse of the installation where GRAHAM’s Civil Engineering team installed two 150 tonne steel girders, using an 800 tonne mobile crane, marking a significant milestone in the Belfast Grand Central Station project.

Dark Hedges Renewal Project

Over the weekend of October 2nd - 3rd, 2021, work was completed by our contractors demolishing the stone overbridge as part of the Dark Arches project.

The process commenced once the last train of Friday night past-by the site compound. Work continued throughout day and night. The demolition and cleaning schedule was completed well ahead of time.
