Family and Friends Ticket

Where will your unlimited ticket take you? The possibilities are endless! Whether you choose to go by Ulsterbus, Metro, NI Railways or all three, your great day out costs the same great price of £22. A Translink Family and Friends Ticket is available in station or from the driver or conductor If you plan on using Metro services only, we have a 'Metro Family Ticket' available for £9.
 
So go on, let's really get things going for less with Translink Family and Friends. Available every day for travel after 9.30am, and ALL DAY on Saturdays, Sundays and every day during main school holidays (does not include mid/half term school holidays. Available Easter, Summer, Halloween and Christmas).
 
 
 
 
 
Ticket Terms and Conditions

  • Valid for 2 adults & up to 4 children (min of 1 adult & 1 child)

  • Valid for an unlimited number of journeys at ANY TIME on Saturdays and Sundays and every day during main school holidays, i.e. Easter, summer, halloween and Christmas. Does not include mid/half term school holidays

  • Valid for travel Mon-Fri after 9:30am outside of main school holiday periods

  • Available to purchase on all NI Railways, Metro, Ulsterbus & Goldline Express services within Northern Ireland only and at all main bus and rail stations

  • Additional children under 16 will be charged at £4

  • Tickets are available from the first bus/train of use or station on day of use

  • Not available from Smartlink ticket agents

  • Tickets must be retained for each journey during the day of purchase & the group must travel together

  • This is a promotional fare and may be withdrawn at any time

  • This promotion allows travel on any Translink bus or rail service within Northern Ireland. Therefore a Metro issued Family & Friends Day Ticket will be valid for travel on NI Railways or Ulsterbus, an Ulsterbus Family & Friends Day Ticket will be valid on NI Railways or Metro and a NI Railways Family & Friends Day Ticket will be valid on Metro or Ulsterbus.
