Dear Colleagues,
We have a lot of activity going on over the summer months.
We have launched our 60+ campaign to urge all men and women of 60 - 64 to get their applications in for their 60+ SmartPass. The latest number of applications received by us is 17,808; that’s twenty percent of the total eligible. Many of you are working hard
to get the applications turned around and out to our new customers.
We are also running a new ‘Metro Friday’ promotion to encourage people to use the bus for their evening out in Belfast and get the message out that Metro is about healthy living, is better for our environment and relaxing.
On Fridays we have a special £1 single fare after 7pm and Metro customers can also get a free coffee all day from the Streat, discounted tickets for the new Odeon cinema, a free drink at selected Botanic Inns venues and special offers at Nando’s
and Pizza Hut. Free copies of the Belfast Telegraph’s ‘Weekend’ magazine will be given out to passengers in the city centre.
You can also avail of these promotional offers with a valid staff pass. Spouse / partner and dependents’ passes are also accepted.
Also in Belfast we are supporting Féile - the West Belfast Festival - beginning this weekend and running until August 10. The programme includes both local talent and international stars with plenty of opportunities for get involved.
Posters with event details have been distributed around stations; highlights include the Metro Movie Drive-In and Music on the Metro sessions. There is also an opportunity for you to win pairs of tickets to the Indie Tribute Night featuring The Complete Stone
Roses and These Charming Men.
So take the opportunity to join this dynamic festival.
