Dear Colleagues,

This week I am delighted to highlight our success in the recent NICVA Link Awards in Belfast. Translink won first place in the Small Charity Category after being nominated by Shopmobility in Belfast.

These prestigious awards recognise the contribution to good causes by businesses and other organisations.  We take our corporate social responsibilities very seriously and as such we are always exploring new ways to maximise our contribution to the social and economic lives of the communities we serve.
 
We work in partnership with Shopmobility – which boasts over 6,000 members from across Northern Ireland on a range of joint initiatives including offering wheelchairs, motorised scooters and electric wheelchairs for free daily hire from the Europa Buscentre and Great Victoria Street Rail Centre.  These schemes greatly improve access and convenience for people with limited mobility - so it’s pleasing to see our work rewarded in this way.
