Dear Colleagues,
Tomorrow, the final of the IRB U19 Rugby World Championship
will take place at Ravenhill between New Zealand and South
Africa.
While
it
is a shame Ireland didn’t get to the final we have scored
a result as the official transport provider for the tournament.
Over the past 3 weeks we have been carrying all the teams to
and from games and training. Not only has this been great
business for us but it also has been very high profile and
presents
our brands, service and professionalism as top quality and
reliable enough to deliver such a prestigious job.
So many thanks to all colleagues from the Tours business
and bus depots across the network who provided a service
we can
all be proud of. It is also good news for Northern Ireland – a
real sign that the place is now viewed as a fit and proper
host of such
international sporting events.
After this and the Ryder Cup – what
possibly could our colleagues be working at next?

Acting Chief Executive
