Translink bus drivers Thomas McIlhone and Andy Johnson awarded runner up positions at the Unite ULR (Union Learning Representative) of the Year 2013 awards which took place recently at Congress House, London.


IRTE Skills Challenge 2013

Three in a row: Adam Mc Grath from Derry~Londonderry, David Carson Translink Technical Engineer, William Scott from Swatragh and Jan Colville from Coleraine pictured after scooping several awards for the third consecutive year at the National IRTE (Institute Of Road Transport Engineers) Skills Challenge 2013.

 

 

 

 

 

Translink engineering team received top honours in the IRTE Skills Challenge 2013; William Scott from Swatragh achieved ‘Top Scoring Mechanical Technician’, Jan Colville also from Coleraine was awarded runner-up ‘Bodywork Technician’ and the team as a whole which included Adam McGrath from Derry~Londonderry, were joint winners of ‘Mechanical Electrical and Bodywork Combined Team’


Federation of Passenger Transport Northern Ireland

Metro bus driver, David Spratt was awarded ‘Bus Driver of the Year’  and Ulsterbus bus driver, Raymond Williamson was awarded runner up ‘Bus Driver of the Year at the recent Federation of Passenger Transport, Northern Ireland (FPTNI) Annual Awards.

Children’s Commissioner’s 2012/13 Participation Awards

Translink received a Gold Award for their yLink project in the ‘Putting Young People to the Forefront’ category.
