During the Halloween school holidays we have a great range of promotional tickets available for bus and rail services from Saturday 25 October to Sunday 9 November.

Family & Friends Ticket – Bus & Rail

Unlimited Bus & Rail Travel for up to 2 adults + 4 children (minimum 1 adult + 1 child) on any scheduled bus or rail service within Northern Ireland. Available Monday - Sunday.  (Not valid on Ulsterbus Day Tours or Cross Border services). 

Family & Friends Ticket is also available every Saturday and Sunday outside this promotional period.

Fare:  

  • Family & Friends Ticket: £20
  • Additional Children (under 16 years): £4
  • Children under 5 years will be counted as part of a party.

 

No time restrictions will be attached to ticket.

Available to purchase on all NI Railways, Metro, Ulsterbus and Goldline services within Northern Ireland only and also at any main bus or rail station.

Bus Rambler Ticket

This ticket offers passengers unlimited travel on all Ulsterbus, Goldline and Metro services within Northern Ireland .

Fare:

  • Adult: £9
  • Child: £4.50

 

Available to purchase on board any bus service within Northern Ireland or at any main bus station

Metro Family Day Ticket – Metro Bus Only

A Family Day Ticket for Metro will allow unlimited travel for up to 2 adults + 4 children (minimum 1 adult + 1 child) anywhere, any time on all Metro services for one day.

Fare:

  • Metro Family Day Ticket: £9
  • Additional children (under 16): £1.50
  • Children under 5 years will be counted as part of a party.

 

The Metro Family Day ticket can only be purchased on board any Metro service.

Main Halloween night activity
Carnival parade City of Bones leaving from Council Offices, Strand Road, on 31 October at 7.00pm. Come join the dance, we are encouraging the public to come along and join in the parade to show off their Halloween costumes. Carnival parade route is as follows – Strand Road Council towards Harbour Roundabout and travels down Queen’s Quay back to the Council Offices.
The Banks of the Foyle will play host to the Fireworks display between 8 and 8.15pm.

How to get there: A free Metro Ghostbus will be operating from Chichester St. at regular intervals from 5.15pm-8pm with return journeys until 9pm from Queen's Rd, Titanic Quarter.
