Larne Area Roadworks - Service 153/154 Disruption 
Due to road works on Victoria Roadd in Larne, the stop at Princess Gardens cannot be served.
The diversion will be via Agnew Street and then Victoria Road in both directions. Roadworks are expected to last for three weeks from Wednesday 25th November.
Banbridge Diversions - Friday 27th November
Due to the Christmas light switch on in Banbridge town centre on Friday 27.11.15 the following changes shall apply:
All buses going to Belfast, Portadown and Lurgan between 17.15 and 22.00 shall depart from the bus stop in Kenlis Street and go via Tesco’s onto the Castlewellan road and serve Church square as normal.
The bus stop at Banbridge War Memorial shall be suspended between these times.
The 17.40 Service 66 to Scarva shall pick up outside the Newry street office and go via Commercial road.
Buses to Newry after 18.30 shall come to the top of the town via Castlewellan road and Tesco’s and pick up opposite the bus stop in Kenlis street beside the Baptist church.
Mayobridge Resurfacing Works - Mon 23rd to Fri 27th November 2015

Resurfacing works in Mayobridge from Monday 23rd November to Thursday 27th November daily between 09:00 & 16:30; Ulsterbus service 33 will be subject to possible delays & disruptions as shown below:

Ulsterbus service 33 will operate from Rathfriland to Hilltown and then back to Rathfirland and then via Shinn to Newry. Mayobridge will not be served at all during these works.

Service 29 Timetable Change - Saturday 7th November onwards

Passenger are advised of a timetable change on Ulsterbus service 29 (Saturday ONLY) commencing Saturday 7th November:

12.15 Service 29 Banbridge to Rathfriland shall now operate at 12.05 and run 10 minutes earlier throughout.
12.45 Service 29 Rathfriland to Banbridge shall now operate at 12.35 and run 10 minutes earlier throughout.

Ulsterbus Service 16A Disruption - Roadworks Downpatrick to Killough

Due to roadworks Ulsterbus service 16A will be operating as follows between Downpatrick and Killough:

- Depart bus station to the Flying Horse, Downshire Hospital, main Ardglass Road, Crew Road, Coney Island and as normal. The same diversion will operate in reverse from Killough to Downpatrick.

Roadworks are from 08:00 to 17:00 daily until 4th December.

Armagh Roadworks - Ongoing until Monday 30th November 2015

Due to work being carried out by Northern Ireland Water: Mall West is closed to services leaving Armagh Bus Station until Monday 30/11/15. The bus routes affected are:

Ulsterbus Services 40, 44, 69, 70, 73 & 371B

These services will be following diversions, so intending passengers are advised to go to Armagh Bus Centre to board. These services will now be able to set down on Mall West on return journey. There is expected to be long delays during this closure on all services.

Services 61, 250 and 251 have now returned to normal.

Ulsterbus - Donegall Street Relocation of Bus Stop

Relocation of 1st bus stop in York Street

Due to demolition and rebuilding work associated with the new University of Ulster building at York Street it will be necessary to suspend the first stop in York Street for 30 months from 09:30 on Friday 9th October 2015.

All services Metro and Ulsterbus will all be relocated to the 2nd stop  near Frederick Street. The inner lane will be taken out to be used as a covered walkway for pedestrians as there will be a hoarding the length of the footpath from Donegall Street to Frederick Street for the duration of the work. The bus shelter will be inaccessible but there will be a marked gap in the covered walkway to allow boarding/alighting at this point.

Service 94 (Omagh - Enniskillen) Service Alteration

Service 94 which operates from Dromore to Enniskillen at 08:03 (Monday to Friday) has now changed.

This service will now depart Dromore at 07:46, Trillick at 08:03, Ballinamallard at 08:15 and arrive at Enniskillen at approximately 08:32 .


Newtownards Bus Station Update

From Monday 5th October 2015 Usterbus services 5A, 5D, 6, 7, 7A, & 9B  will depart from Gibsons Lane after 19:00.


Lisburn Bus Station - Sunday Closure

From Sunday 27th September onwards, Lisburn Buscentre will no longer be open on a Sunday. Passengers are advised to board all bus services at Smithfield Street bus shelter from this date onwards.


Service 3 Bangor - Donaghadee Timetable Error

Ulsterbus Service 3: The new printed timetable for Bangor & Newtownards shows a 21:00 bus from Bangor to Donaghadee and a 21:20 bus from Donaghadee to Bangor (Monday - Friday), this is incorrect there is no 21:00 and 21:20 return.


Translink Timetable Changes - From 30th August (Rail) & 1st September (Bus)

As part of Translink’s overall plans to reduce costs due to the significant reduction in public funding in 2015/16; some Translink services have changed from 30th August (rail) and 1st September (bus/coach).

Ballymena Town Centre Stops

Due to car parking in Church Street the service has been withdrawn.  Buses were unable to get past parked cars.


Castlereagh Road Temporary Bus Stop Suspension, Relocation & Bus Lane Suspension

Please be advised of the below bus stop and lane alterations on the Castlereagh Road affecting Ulsterbus Services 12/512 for construction work starting from Wednesday 8th April 2015 for approximately 21 weeks.

  • Country bound at ORBY LINK (Stop Name Loopland) – Bus Stop Suspended
  • City bound opposite ORBY LINK (Stop Name Loopland) – moved 30 metres city bound (Outside Proctors) 
  • City Bound Bus Lane – Suspended within works area


Dufferin Avenue, Bangor Overflow Car Park

Free passenger overflow parking now available at Dufferin Avenue, Bangor for Translink passengers.
