 Lisburn Area Delays - Sat 29 Aug 15

Severe delays expected on services operating in the Lisburn area between 12:00 – 14:00 and 16:00 – 18:00 due to parades.

 

Ballymena Town Centre Stops

Due to public realm works taking place in Ballymena, the bus stops located in Broughshane Street and Wellington Street, have been temporarily relocated to the ‘Pentagon’.
In order to facilitate passengers, we will be operating a shuttle minibus between the temporary stop and Wellington Street, for the duration of the works.

(We were made aware of these works on recently and immediately placed information posters on our buses behind drivers, at the bus stops affected and in Ballymena bus station).

Foyle City Services Disruption - FY10 and FY11

Northland Road in Derry\Londonderry will be closed in both directions from 0800hrs-1800hrs daily from Monday 24th to Saturday 29th August inclusive.
FY 10 – will go Strand Road, Duncreggan Road and as normal countrybound (reverse citybound)
FY 11 - will go Strand Road, Duncreggan Road, Eden Terrace and as normal countrybound (reverse citybound).

 

BELFAST - ROYAL BLACK PRECEPTORY ANNUAL PARADE - SATURDAY 29th AUGUST 2015

The annual Royal Black Preceptory Parade takes place this Saturday 29th August 2015 and there will be various feeder parades early in the morning around Belfast city centre to various locations to board their buses to the venue.

Metro and Ulsterbus services operating in the Belfast City area may be subject to some delays/disruptions. The P.S.N.I. may hold traffic for short periods around the city centre but there are no major delays expected.

 

Newtownstewart - Black Saturday Parade - Saturday 29th August 

Please be advised that no buses will be going through the village of Newtownstewart on Saturday 29th August 2015 due to the Royal Black Preceptory parade during the hours of 09:00 – 18:30.

Bus services 273, 97, and 98 will pick up and drop off on the New Road.

 

Portstewart Black Saturday Parade - Saturday 29th August

Ulsterbus services 140A/B/C, 177 & 252 operating in the Coleraine/Portrush/Portstewart area on Saturday 29th August will be subject to delays/disruptions between 11:00 & 17:30.

Banbridge Town Centre - Saturday 29th August - Belfast R.B.P Parade 

56, 62, 238, 330 Ulsterbus services operating to/from Banbridge on Saturday 29th August will be subject to disruptions/diversions due to a parade taking place. Please click on below link for service information:

Kilkeel - Black Saturday Demonstration - Saturday 29th August

Due to the demonstration there will be changes to the service as follows in Kilkeel on Saturday 29 August:

Ulsterbus 37 ex Kilkeel - Newcastle

1145 & 1350 Depart Ballymartin School Road.

1450 Depart depot as normal.

1650, 1715 & 1750  Depart Ballymartin School Road.


Ulsterbus 37 ex Newcastle - Kilkeel

1230 Bus will proceed as far as Ballymartin Village.

1340 & 1435 Arrive Kilkeel at normal time.

1530, 1610 & 1635 Bus will proceed as far as Ballymartin Village.


Ulsterbus 39 ex Kilkeel - Newry

1315 & 1415 Depart top of Newry Street (Hillside Drive)

1515 & 1530 Depart depot as normal

1705 Depart top of Newry Street (Hillside Drive).


Ulsterbus 39 ex Newry - Kilkeel

1205 and 1305 Bus will proceed as far as top of Newry Street (Hillside Drive)

1405 Arrive Kilkeel at normal time of 1500

1545 and 1630 Bus will proceed as far as top of Newry Street (Hillside Drive)


All services may be subject to disruption, delays and cancellations.

Translink Forthcoming Timetable Changes - 30th August 2015

As part of Translink’s overall plans to reduce costs due to the significant reduction in public funding in 2015/16.

Translink services will be changing from 30 August (rail) and 1 September (bus/coach).

231 Summer Service Omagh - Portrush 

During July & August (2015) and ONLY on Wednesdays & Saturdays a bus service (231) will operate between Omagh / Portrush. Times are as follows;

Departing Omagh 0930, Newtownstewart 0945, Victoria Bridge 0955, Sion Mills 0958, Strabane Buscentre 1005, Strabane Canal Street 1010, Portstewart Promenade 1140 arriving Portrush, Dunluce Ave at 1150.

Departing Portrush Dunluce Ave 1800, Portstewart Promenade 1810, Strabane Abercorn Square 1940, Strabane Buscentre 1945, Sion Mill Post Office 1950, Victoria Bridge 1955, Newtownstewart 2005 arriving Omagh at 2025.

 

Cloveneden Road, Loughall - Ulsterbus Service 67 Information 

Due to road works taking place from Monday 6th July 2015 to Friday 28th August 2015; there will be a road closure between Loughall and Chambers Pub affecting the 67 route.

During this time bus services will be omitting Cloveneden Road.

Steeple Road, Antrim - Road Works 

Steeple Rd in Antrim is closed for road works. The bus stop at Beechfield (after the traffic lights/ Steeple junction) has therefore been suspended until further notice.

218 /219/321E services are being diverted via the Parkhall Road in both directions.

 

Cairnshill Park & Ride Service Information 

Some minor changes to the current timetable will be introduced from Monday 1st July 2015 RE Cairnshill Park & Ride

  •  From Cairnshill Park & Ride to Europa Buscentre the 1242 Service 20 will no longer operate.
    1532, Service 20, will now depart at 1527.
  • From Europa Buscentre the 1315 Service 20 will no longer operate to Cairnshill Park & Ride.
    1815 Service 20 now additional service.

New Ballymoney Town Service 373 

A new Ballymoney Town service 373 will commence on 01 July 2015 (Monday to Friday only...no Saturday or Sunday service) via Ballymoney Rail Station, Carnany, Joey Dunlop Leisure Centre, Town Hall and Tescos.

109 Timetable changes Woodbrook (Blaris) / Lisburn Buscentre Service - Commencing 1st July 2015 

From Wednesday 1st July 2015; service 109 at 07:20 and 07:50 from Woodbrook (Blaris) to Lisburn Buscentre will be withdrawn and replaced with the following service:

LISBURN BUSCENTRE 07:35 - WOODBROOK 07:43 - LADY WALLACE ROAD 07:50 - LISBURN RAIL STATION 07:55 - LISBURN BUS CENTRE 08:00.

 163/563 - Whitehead/Kilroot/Carrickfergus/Belfast

Please be advised that with immediate effect; as the new road has been opened between Greenisland and Seapark that all service 163/263/563 will operate the following diversions:

All Belfast buses will proceed along the old road and service the stops as normal (This is one way at the moment).

All Carrick bound buses will operate along the new road missing out two bus stops by Ravenhill nursing home.

Castlereagh Road Temporary Bus Stop Suspension, Relocation & Bus Lane Suspension

Please be advised of the below bus stop and lane alterations on the Castlereagh Road affecting Ulsterbus Services 12/512 for construction work starting from Wednesday 8th April 2015 for approximately 21 weeks.

Country bound at ORBY LINK (Stop Name Loopland) – Bus Stop Suspended
City bound opposite ORBY LINK (Stop Name Loopland) – moved 30 metres city bound (Outside Proctors)
City Bound Bus Lane – Suspended within works area

 

Relocation of Bus Stops, Upper Newtownards Road, Belfast 

Due to recent road works on the Upper Newtownards Road the following Bus Stops are to be relocated as follows. Drivers are requested to assist intending passengers during the transitional period.

Country Bound:
The “Belmont Church Road” will be merged with the Ulsterbus stop at “Greenwood Primary School” to become a “Dual Stop”.
The “Ormiston” stop is removed.

City Bound:
The “Ormiston” stop is removed.
The “Belmont Church Road” stop is to be relocated 25 metres city bound to outside “Knockhill Apartments”.

 

Dufferin Avenue, Bangor Overflow Car Park

Free passenger overflow parking now available at Dufferin Avenue, Bangor for Translink passengers.
