Lisburn City, Saturday 19th April

Queens Road in Lisburn will be closed due to the Circuit of Ireland on Saturday 19th April in both directions from 10:00 to 17:30.

Buses that normally use The Queens Road will now be diverted via Wallace Avenue on inward and outward journeys (delays are to be expected).

 
Lurgan Centre, Tuesday 15th April
Due to a fire, services which normally depart from Santander Bank or Bank of Ireland (Portadown direction) will now depart from First Trust Bank/Ulsterbank until further notice (Belfast / Banbridge services will operate from their normal departure points in Lurgan).
 
Services to / from Newtownards - Diversions, Friday 18th April 2014

Newtownards Town Centre will be closed on Friday 18th April from 16:30 to 22:30 due to Circuit of Ireland Rally...diversions are as follows;

  • Buses coming from Portaferry Road will be diverted via Court Street, John Street & Frederick Street to Hospital (pick up) for Belfast bound (Gibson Lane will not be served for pick up between 1630-2230) or Bus Station for N'Ards.
  • Buses coming from Donaghadee Road will be diverted via Georges Street to Portaferry Road, then the bus will follow the Portaferry Road diversion.
  • Buses coming from Bangor will be diverted via Georges Street to Portaferry Road, then teh bus will follow Portaferry Road diversion.
  • Buses leaving N'Ards Station for Portaferry, Comber, West Winds will exit front on to Regent Street turn right to Frederick Street, John Street, Court Street for Portaferry Road & South Street for Comber Road.
  • Buses leaving Station for Bangor, Millisle & Town Services will exit rear on to West Street & East Street to Donaghadee Road Roundabout then as normal.

Service 9B Carrowdore - Newtowards Diversion - Friday 18th April 2014
Ballyblack Road will be closed from 07:15 to 13:15 on Friday 18th April due to Circuit of Ireland Rally. 

Diversion will be via Grangee Road, Ballyblack Road East, Manse Road, Ballyboley, Mt Stewart Road to Portaferry Road.

Return via same route.

321D Antrim Town Service  
The Dublin Road 321D Antrim Town service bus will be diverted until further notice due to emergency sewer repairs...this will take up to, and maybe over six days. 
As a result the 321D service will pick up and set down on the main Dublin Road at the second entrance into Cedarmount.


There will be further diversions put in place due to speed ramp installation which will run in conjunction with the above, so please note some delays may be experienced on the 321D service over the next few weeks.

 
Greenisland Estate, Belfast - Diversion - 12th April to 27th April 2014

Due to road works Ulsterbus services (163/563) will be unable to access Greenisland Estate daily from Saturday 12th April until Sunday 27th April.

As a result of this, a shuttle service will operate from the Estate to the Shore Road between 06:00 and 19:00 on Saturday 12th April until Saturday 26th April. There is no shuttle service on Sundays, Easter Monday or Easter Tuesday. # update 0955, 15/4 - Shuttle service unable to operate today (15/4) due to a break down #.

Passengers can walk to Shore Road bus stops to meet schedule services. There is a pedestrian access to the Shore Road from the bottom of Station Road.

Normal service will operate along the Shore Road (omitting Greenisland Estate).

17A - Roadworks Between Castlewellan and Clough
Due to roadwork’s, the Castlewellan to Clough Road will be closed between the junction of Aughlisnafin Road & Moneycarragh Road from 09:00 until 16:00 from Tuesday 18th March until further notice.

School bus services will not be affected; however all other buses will be subject to diversions in both directions during the above times via Aughlisnafin Crossroads and Dundrum.
 
Service 39 - Kilkeel to Newry via Rostrevor - Bridge Street Roadworks
Services are currently unable to serve the main Bridge Street bus stop in Rostrevor going towards Newry only due to roadworks - Services are operating via Shore Road. Awaiting update on duration of disruption. 
 
Dungannon Square - Commencing 24th February 2014
Buses will not serve Dungannon Square from Thomas Street from 24/02/2014 until further notice.
Passengers for Dungannon Square will be let off near the lights on Thomas Street or on Greer’s Road.
The bus stop on Scotch Street has been temporarily suspended and all passengers will now be lifted at the Ulster Bank in Dungannon Square for as long as Thomas Street is closed. 
 

Larne Town Service Diversions - (Update 24th February)

Due to road works on the Linn Rd between its junction with the Churchhill Rd and the Killyglen Rd will be reduced to one lane only. The following services will be operate as follows until further notice;

359B – Seacourt Service
Will follow the following diversion - Dunnes – along Victoria Rd - up The Roddens – along the Antiville Rd – up the Linn Rd – left through Walnut Rd & Lindara – right on to Killyglen Rd – right down the Upper Cairncastle Rd (omitting the Ballycraigy/New Rd) – along The Roddens – across Greenland Rd – up Old Glenarm Rd – around Seacourt – back down Old Glenarm Rd – onto Agnew St – Dunnes.

These road works are expected to be on-going for a period of 8 weeks.
