 Ballynahinch Services - Disruption

Due to a road traffic accident at Temple Crossroads, Ulsterbus services to Ballynahinch are subject to delay and diversion from 1930hrs onwards tonight, Friday 22nd May.

 

Newtownards Diversion, Friday 22 May

Newtownards Town Centre will be closed on Friday 22nd May from 18:30 to 22:30 due to a parade. 

  • Buses coming from Portaferry Road will be diverted via Tesco, Comber Road, Circular Road, Mill Street & Frederick Street to Hospital for Belfast.
  • Buses coming from Donaghadee Road will be diverted via Bangor Road, North Road, Talbot Street & William Street to Hospital for Belfast.
  • Buses coming from Bangor will be diverted via North Road, Talbot Street & William Street to Hospital.
  • Buses for Comber/West Winds will go William Street, North Road, Bangor Road then New Road via Tesco & Comber Road.
  • Buses for Bangor will go William Street, North Road and then Bangor Road.
  • Buses for Portaferry will go William Street, North Road, Bangor Road, New Road then on to Portaferry Road.
  • Buses for Millisle/Donaghadee & Bowtown Estate will go William Street, North Road, Bangor Road, New Road then on to Donaghadee Road.
  • All Buses due to leave Bus Station will now depart from the side of St Marks Church on William Street (from 1830 onwards).

109 / 109A Ballinderry Road Diversion, Commencing 25 May 2015 

From Monday 25th May the Ballinderry Road (B104) will be closed for approximately five weeks for roadworks.  This will affect the 109/109A service which will be diverted as follows,

Antrim-Lisburn;
Service will operate to Upper Ballinderry as normal, then main Moira Road (A26) to the roundabout, Lisburn Road (A3) to Knockmore, then as normal to Lisburn rail and bus stations.
(The return service will operate in the reverse order)

Passengers for the Woodbrook stop on the Ballinderry Road will have to alight/board at the nearest bus stop on the Knockmore Road to the Ballinderry Road.

The Meeting house lane and Brookmount station bus stops will be suspended for the duration of these works.

Goldline 219/ Ulsterbus 120A/ Town Service 321E - Antrim Area Hospital Diversion, Commencing 25 May 2015 

The above services will NOT be servicing Antrim Hospital due to essential road maintenance.

The Steeple Road will be closed from Steeple Rd. Antrim from the junction of Stiles way to Bush Manor.

The stop at the Steeple (old council offices) will remain open however the stop at Bush House/Busheforde will be suspended.

Shuttle services will operate from 08:00 Monday 25th May – Friday 17th June 17:30 (Mon to Fri for three weeks).

Translink would like to advise passengers to allow additional time for travel during these road works.

Drumbo Service 13 Disruption

Due to roadworks in the Drumbo area until Friday 29th May, Ulsterbus service 13 will operate via Pinehill Road both directions.

 

330C The Outlet, Banbridge - Revised Times

From Monday 18 May 2015 the following 330C services departing Banbridge War Memorial to The Outlet will no longer operate;
- Monday to Friday 0905, 1200, 1800, 1930, 2030 & 2100
- Saturday 0905, 1200 & 1800
- Sunday 1230 & 1805

325G Eglantine Road, Lisburn Diversion 

Please note that the Eglantine Road (Lisburn) will be partially closed to through traffic from Monday 27th April to Saturday 9th May and from Monday 18th May until Saturday 12th June -  this will only affect service 325G Hillsborough Busy Bus.

  • The diversion (from Lisburn) is A1 to Harry’s Road to Culcavy Crossroads and then normal route same on inward direction.
    The closure is to facilitate tunnelling under A1.

Bus Lane Closure - Nelson Street Commencing Monday 20th April 2015 

The bus lane at Duncrue/Whitla Street to Nelson Street inbound will be closed daily Monday to Friday between 09:00hrs and 16:00hrs for 3 weeks from Monday 20th April 2015 to facilitate work on new pedestrian crossings at Nelson Street subway and Duncrue Street/Whitla Street - as a result of this passengers will not be able alight on the bus lane...the next stop for passengers will be Nelson Street.

All services exiting the M2 or approaching inbound from Duncrue Street will be diverted via Whitla Street, Garmoyle Street, Dock Street to Nelson Street then as normal.

OUTBOUND SERVICES TO DUNCRUE STREET ARE NOT AFFECTED.

Service 29 Banbridge - Rathfriland Sunday Information 

**Updated 8th May
Service 29 on Sundays between Banbridge and Rathfriland will no longer operate from week commencing **01st June 2015...the last Sunday this service will operate is Sunday 31st May 2015.

There are no changes to the Monday - Saturday timetable.

 

Castlereagh Road Temporary Bus Stop Suspension, Relocation & Bus Lane Suspension

Please be advised of the below bus stop and lane alterations on the Castlereagh Road affecting Ulsterbus Services 12/512 for construction work starting from Wednesday 8th April 2015 for approximately 21 weeks.

Country bound at ORBY LINK (Stop Name Loopland) – Bus Stop Suspended
City bound opposite ORBY LINK (Stop Name Loopland) – moved 30 metres city bound (Outside Proctors)
City Bound Bus Lane – Suspended within works area

 

Relocation of Bus Stops, Upper Newtownards Road, Belfast 

Due to recent road works on the Upper Newtownards Road the following Bus Stops are to be relocated as follows. Drivers are requested to assist intending passengers during the transitional period.

Country Bound:
The “Belmont Church Road” will be merged with the Ulsterbus stop at “Greenwood Primary School” to become a “Dual Stop”.
The “Ormiston” stop is removed.

City Bound:
The “Ormiston” stop is removed.
The “Belmont Church Road” stop is to be relocated 25 metres city bound to outside “Knockhill Apartments”.

 

Dufferin Avenue, Bangor Overflow Car Park

Free passenger overflow parking now available at Dufferin Avenue, Bangor for Translink passengers.
