Translink wins at the UK Rail Business Awards

Translink recently won 2 top awards and one at the UK Rail Business Awards in London beating stiff competition from rail operators right across the UK.

Translink scooped both the Marketing & Communications Award for the 'Get On Board' Campaign centring around the company’s first Bus and Train Week in June 2016 that promoted the benefits of public transport. This was a multi-media campaign resulting in a 40,000 increase in passenger numbers during Bus +Train Week alone. Translink triumphed over other leading rail operators including Carrillion Rail, ESG, Rail, Irish Rail and Keolis Amey Docklands.   Pictured with the Award was L-R Paul Loughran, Gemma Thompson, Tim Munster, Lynda Shannon, Carol Lundy, Norman Maynes, Peter O’Hare, Jenna Flynn, Claire Vaux, Kerry Graye and Astrid Conville.
