Translink Belfast Bus Drivers help Stuff A Bus with toys this Christmas

5 December 2018

Belfast Bus Drivers Appeal Committee have pledged their support for the Stuff A Bus NI Family Appeal to fill a Metro bus full of toys this Christmas for a second year in a row!  This December Translink is aiming to collect 15,000 toys for children and young people of all ages who would otherwise go without this Christmas.

Belfast Bus Drivers Appeal Committee have pledged their support to the Christmas Stuff a Bus NI Appeal by donating £500 worth of toys.  The appeal is a partnership between Salvation Army, St Vincent de Paul, Translink and U105 and builds on the success of last year’s appeal which filled 2 single decker buses.  This year the target is to fill a double decker!

The Belfast Bus Drivers Appeal Committee is a charity set up in 1981 by a group of drivers who identified a need to practically support the local community. Belfast Bus Drivers Appeal Committee are supporting #stuffabusni by helping disadvantaged people in local communities while also encouraging others to join in. Members of the public can donate to the Stuff A Bus Appeal during normal station opening hours in Belfast’s Europa Bus Centre, Lanyon Place Station and Visit Belfast.
