WHAT IS THE ULSTERBUS STRATEGIC REVIEW?
Aim
The Ulsterbus Strategic Review is a major project which covers all the operational and delivery functions of Ulsterbus. The aim is to:
Transform the effectiveness, efficiency and integration of Ulsterbus services
Review and redesign the network
Serve key market segments and aspirations of customers, stakeholders and public policy
The Ulsterbus Strategic Review provided the data required to:
Develop plans for sustainable growth in passenger numbers in line with the Regional Transportation Strategy
Redesign the Ulsterbus network to provide more attractive core services
Plan changes that will maximise the use of all resources

LARNE TOWN SERVICES
Introducing a standardised modern route network and improved simplified clock face timetabling designed to meet customer needs.
A number of town services and local services have been reclassified with service numbers changing and frequency increasing. In summary:
Antiville Estate will have an improved frequency of 15minutes from combined Services 359A and 359B
Seacourt Estate will have an improved clock face frequency provided by Service 359B
Wellington Parade and Sallagh Park will be served by the new hourly Service 359C
The Harbour Service 359D will now have a 2 hour frequency
Inver and Glenoe are now served by a new improved local Service 162B operating 4 journeys daily in each direction.
Glynn will be served by the 170B local service operating 4 journeys daily which together with Service 162B will provide 8 journeys daily
Extended operating hours
Accessible low floor buses on all services
Improved links to the train station.
Introduction of new modern bus stop infrastructure.
Promotional fare: £1.70 Day Ticket validity extended across entire Town Service network including Millbrook and Inver.
WHAT CHANGES ARE BEING MADE?
A timetable has been agreed for the complete reorganisation of all Ulsterbus services throughout Northern Ireland. This will involve the grouping where possible of all services into particular categories, such as:
Town services
Inter Urban services
Key County services
Rural services
School services
We have seen significant growth across local networks including Coleraine, Enniskillen, Dungannon, Newry and Armagh areas and most recently in Newtownards.We are confident that the local area plans are meeting performance and service delivery objectives and improved customer satisfaction.

Larne to Carnlough & Cushendall
Larne to Ballymena
GOLDLINE SERVICES
Service 256 Larne Belfast
This service will serve the Roddens and Antiville in the morning peak, but will operate direct to Belfast off-peak thus reducing journey time. (Improved Services 359A and 359B will provide Antiville with a 15minute service and connection for the Belfast Express off peak).
